A Call To Arms

For 6 years now maybe a bit longer we have been at war. Our men and women have been serving their country in the face of a brutal and vicious enemy. I am reminded daily of their sacrifice, courage, and struggle. I am reminded that we need to pray for our heroes daily, for their safety, for their strength, for their courage, for their survival. They are fighting for us, you and I. Day in and day out they risk their lives so we can enjoy ours. Some lay awake at night in fear, some in exhaustion, some in anger. Some may go to sleep and not wake up.

They need our prayers, and the reason I am reminded of this on a daily basis, is because my 5-year-old son is their prayer warrior. Every night before he goes to bed he prays for the soldiers. He prays for their safety, that they can fight well and kill the bad guy, and that they can come home safe. He prays that they have enough food to eat to keep them strong, and that ehy can sleep good. He prays for the children that have moms and dads serving in the war, that they come home safe so they don't have to be sad anymore. Our soldiers need our prayers, my son gets that, and he honors that responsibility every night. It's time we do the same.

PRAY FOR OUR TROUPS!
